Ok, so Dave, Kyle, and i were sitting around the coffee shop sketching and got bored so we decied it was time for our weekly top 5. This week we decided on the top 5 graphic novels/trade paperbacks of all time, but we realized that most of our choices were Batman books. So this week we'll do the top 5 Batman graphic novels of all time and then next week we'll do top 5 non-batman graphic novels of all time. So without further adieu in no particular order...

Sorry, I missed out on last weeks posting which is great way to start out on a weekly blog. I was swamped with assignments that were due before study week. But I finished them all and study week is here, yay! this weeks fresh batch of posting is mostly made up with some concept art for future assignments coming my way. For animation i gots to do a short dialogue scene with 2 characters so i was figuring on using Lois and Clark from the Superman comics. Figured it would be a great way to get some nice acting moments with some comedy. The rest are just random pages from my sketchbook. Enjoy, and as always feel free to comment! - Avi

Hey there Citizens! My name is Avi, one of the elite members of the corperate entity simply known as the Super-Buddies! Who are we, you ask? Well simply put we're 3 guys who get together once a week at a local coffee shop to draw, sketch, discuss art, and even digitally paint. Fortunately enough, no one has yet to kick us out of the shop for rowdy behaviour but that may change.........

Anywho, the pics with my name plastered all over them are (shockingly) my own pieces. They are all rough pieces created with the specific purpose of improving certain skills such as variety in faces, line quality, learning how to use my tablet, and world domination. Hello Friends. This is pretty much the best blog ever. I can say this because Deathstroke said so. (this is avi talking, not kyle.) The fridays we don't have hot dates, we go sketching at a local coffee shop. We post what comes out of those grueling hours of intense physical drawing. Hope you enjoy our art.
